Attendance and Missed Lessons:

Individual Lessons - Your lesson time, mutually agreed upon during the registration process, will be yours unless another agreement is made. This lesson time is yours only, and you will be responsible for attending this time slot.

In the case of a Teacher's Absence, we can provide an alternate instructor, reschedule the lesson, or credit the student's lesson fees to their next invoice.

If you are not able to attend your lesson, the following options are available:

.

  1. The teacher can use that time to provide an instructional video and other practice materials to assist the students with their practice. This would be set up as a virtual lesson, catering to that specific student only, recorded and sent during their regular lesson time.

  2.  Students can record the pieces they are working on, and I can watch and respond through video during their regular lesson time. *Please note that I need to receive the video the day before your lesson so I can review it during your regular lesson time.

  3. If a student cannot attend a lesson due to illness or transportation challenges, they can always participate in their lesson online during their regularly scheduled lesson time.

Group Lessons - We will provide a substitute instructor for Teacher Absence.

Inclement Weather - In the event of an Academy Closure due to inclement weather, students may attend their lessons online from their homes during their regularly scheduled lesson time, or the lesson can be rescheduled.

We will post Academy closures on your Student Portal, our website, social media, and emails.
