Lessons
Private instruction: Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele, Music Theory, Harmony, Songwriting, Composition and School Band Woodwinds and Strings are currently available and are offered In-Studio and Online.
Marissa also offers class packages designed to assist students enrolled in School Band and Strings Programs: Five 45-minute lessons, to be scheduled throughout the semester or school year to assist students with concepts or songs they may find challenging. Marissa is happy to discuss points of focus with their Band or Strings Teacher to understand how best to help each student.

About Us: At Ocean Opus, Marissa Kitson is the primary teacher and employs other talented teachers to assist in group music lessons, Summer Camps, and Clinics until we have a space to call our own and can schedule multiple teachers for private lessons.
Marissa takes pride in creating a relaxed, positive environment for you to learn. The lesson structure is flexible, allowing students to play music genres that reflect their unique tastes. She also believes that technique, music theory, ear training, and musicianship are essential topics to cover as they help each student find their true musical self - the primary influence of confident musicians.
Music education is a right, not a privilege, and should be accessible to everyone, regardless of economic background. Marissa proudly offers tuition discounts for all who can demonstrate financial need.

School Band Lesson Packages:
